People with higher incomes pay more each month for Medicare. Enter your income to see what you'd pay, and whether you can get the price lowered. (The official name for this extra charge is IRMAA.) Nothing you type leaves this page.
How it works. Medicare sets each year's price from your tax return two years earlier, so the 2027 price uses your 2025 income. If your income has dropped since then because of retirement or another big life change, you can ask Social Security to use your newer, lower income. That request is Form SSA-44.
